Major League Baseball post-season

MLB gets ready to crown a new champion – the MLB Playoffs and World Series on ESPN America

Major League Baseball (MLB) wraps another season this month with coverage on ESPN America of the MLB Playoffs and the ‘Big Show’ itself, the World Series. ESPN America presents coverage of Division Series and Championship Series games, followed by the always memorable World Series.

The Atlanta Braves have challenged the Phillies in the East all season, while the Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals have kept the Central jumping.

In the American League (AL), the traditional Eastern rivalry between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees hasn’t disappointed, with the Tampa Bay Rays pushing to stay in step with the leaders. The Central has seen the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians in a back-and-forth battle, while the Texas Rangers – last year’s losers to the Giants in the World Series – and the Los Angeles Angels have the West on fire.

ESPN America features coverage of up to 15 games per week, airing LIVE or as-live, throughout the MLB regular season. Don’t miss coverage this month of the MLB Playoffs and the season’s crowning event, the World Series. Check www.espnamerica.com for starting times in your region.
